beaded chain (bch): (made with hook being used for project, plus a smaller hook that will fit through the bead) Remove hook from loop, slide bead on smaller hook, put loop on smaller hook, slide bead from hook to loop, remove smaller hook from loop, put loop back on larger hook, ch 1.

back loop or back loop only (bl or blo): Use the back loop only to complete the stitch or technique.
